Days 11-13
Day 11: Do you have/plan on having a career in the sciences? Alternatively: which branch of science intrigues you most?
-I think it would be cool to have a career in science, but science isn’t my favorite thing to study. I’m not saying that it’s out though. For a really long time I wanted to go pre-med, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to do it. I’ve only...

I Don't Know How I Feel About This Conversation...
Ash: I want you. Now. Haha, I win.
Me: So, does this mean that we get to have hot lesbian sex, with double ended dildos and everything?
Ash: Yeah, and I'm going to do you in the ass so hard that you bleed enough to draw a picture of a smiley face for your mom.

The Difference Between a Malt and a Shake
Brandi: What's the difference between a shake and a malt?
Me: Well, they taste different. There's malt powder in a malt.
Brandi: Do they put salt in malts? Malt always reminds me of salt because they rhyme.
I work with a person who practices wicca, a youth minister, an atheist, and a fundie Christian. For some reason this is really surprising to me.

Day Ten: Are you spiritual, or are your feet...
I guess that I could be considered a spiritual person, in the sense that I’m always thinking about my place in the world. I want to be someone who leaves a mark in history, preferable in a good way.

Day Nine: Even though you’re an atheist, have you...
I’m pretty sure I’m off on the days. Yesterday I posted Day 7. Oh well.
I can’t remember having any experiences like this. I’m still young though, so it’s a possibility.

So, I sorta kinda forgot how to drive an automatic transmission.

Day Seven: What’s your political alignment? Does...
I really hesitate to state a political alignment right now. I’m still a kid, so I feel like I’m not really…allowed to have a preference. I haven’t experienced these things as an adult, so they don’t affect me…as much. Maybe when I become an adult and have to experience things for myself my views will change. When I hear or read about political news I definitely...

Day Six: Except for God, do you believe in...
Eh, I don’t believe in any of that stuff. Although, I will admit that I believed in Harry Potter longer than I believed in God.

Day Six: How do you feel about so-called “militant...
Eh, I don’t really have an opinion about them. I’ve heard of all three of these guys, but I don’t really know all that much about them. I think it’s cool that they are so outspoken about their beliefs when a ton of people are against them. I feel like my responses to these questions are getting shorter and shorter everyday.
Green With Envy
I really don’t want to go to prom if I don’t get a date. My two closest friends are already talking about how they’ve already got people who want to go with them and it’s really getting to me. I’m jealous. Insanely so. I want to know why nobody is offering to go with me. I certainly don’t think that I’m everybody’s first choice for a date, but there’s got to be someone at my school who thinks I...

So, I’ve only got three and a half pages for this essay and I’m already running out of ideas. I have to have a total of six. Maybe I shouldn’t have waited so long to start on it…

Day Five: Did you lose any friends because you...
I didn’t lose any friends, but I think that people at my school sorta lose respect for me and they don’t take me seriously sometimes. I haven’t ever had any really religious friends. Like I’ve mentioned in my earlier posts, my mom doesn’t really talk about religion and my dad isn’t religious. He did try to convince me to learn about other religions though.
Doubting Marcus: My Moral Guidelines →
doubtingmarcus:
As soon as a non-religious person brings up morals, especially if they are criticizing the morals of religions, there is usually someone who condemns them for daring to pass judgments if they don’t have some absolute moral standard for themselves.
This nonsense, which I’ve already addressed,…

Day Four: Do you think religion is obsolete and...
I think that it’s pretty obvious that religion isn’t obsolete. Do I think we need it anymore? No, but it’s still very popular.
I feel uneasy about saying that religion should be wiped off the face of the earth. I feel that, with some people, religious beliefs aren’t an issue. They don’t shove their beliefs down your throat and mind their own business. But then you...

Day Three: Are you a more outspoken or more...
I tend to be more outspoken I think, although lately, I’ve toned it down some. I’m mostly outspoken at school (and the occasional facebook argument). For some reason, I always have a million classes with these crazy religious people.

Day Two:What religion did you grow up with? Did...
Haha, so I guess I missed a couple of days on this…
My early childhood was sorta religious because I was forced by my mom to go to church, but we never actually talked about God and Christianity. Once I went to middle school the household became pretty secular.
As far as my family goes, my experiences with religion have been decent. My father isn’t a religious man and my mother...

My Sister Cracks Jokes.
Me: You're more African than I am.
Isabella: You're darker than me.
Brandi: Hahahahaha, she got that African hair.
Isabella: Oh my goodness. I'm offended. Tell your sister that her hair is nappy.
Brandi: Well, her hair is nappy and she got a perm.
Me: *dies*
